Treasures of Osiris — review
Hold & Spin bonus
Treasures of Osiris uses the mechanic Booongo helped popularise across its "Wild Buffalo" and "Aztec Sun" catalogue. Landing 6 or more money symbols on the reels triggers the Hold & Spin bonus with an initial 3 respins. Each new money symbol that lands resets the respin count back to 3 — the round only ends when three consecutive respins produce no new money symbols. If you fill the entire 5×3 grid (15 positions), the Grand jackpot pays 1,000x on top of the collected values.
Four fixed jackpots
The four jackpots are fixed multipliers of your triggering bet — a design choice that keeps them accessible at £0.25 bets rather than pooled into a progressive network. Mini pays 10x, Minor 25x, Major 100x, Grand 1,000x. Only Grand requires a full-grid fill; the others are awarded as extra money symbols on the reels during the bonus. That "1,000x + collected values" cap is what pushes the theoretical maximum win to 20,000x on the rare occasions the reels fill with high-value symbols.
Osiris Wilds & base game
The Osiris Wild replaces all regular symbols (Ankh, Eye of Ra, Scarab, Pharaoh) and delivers a 3x line-win multiplier when it substitutes. The base game runs on 25 fixed paylines with pay-both-ways adjacency for scatter-style wilds. Volatility rating 5/5 — expect long dry stretches with occasional 5-10x line wins from stacked Pharaohs, then a bonus round that can carry the session by itself.
Bonus Buy & betting strategy
Bonus Buy costs 100x your bet (£25 at minimum stake, £10,000 at maximum) and drops you straight into the Hold & Spin round with a guaranteed minimum of 6 money symbols. RTP with Bonus Buy rises marginally to 96.42%. Sensible bankroll: at least 200-300 base spins per session, or 20-30 Bonus Buys — this is a game where variance dominates any single 20-minute session. Cap your bet at £5 during the welcome bonus rollover to stay compliant with the £5 max-bet rule.
Mobile & presentation
Booongo built Treasures of Osiris on HTML5 with portrait and landscape modes; the 5×3 grid works comfortably on 5-inch screens. Total load is around 6 MB. Sound design leans on Egyptian percussion and rising-tension cues when a respin resets — competent rather than memorable. The jackpot celebration is the visual highlight of the game.
